Below are answers to some commonly asked questions.

What size storage units do you offer?
Our sizes range from 5×5 to 10×30 (approximate dimensions).

When can I access my storage unit?
5am-10pm daily access (365 days per year)
24-hour access for parking customers

What are your office hours?
Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Closed

Does SouthSide Storage provide locks?
You can purchase a new sealed lock at our facility. We offer heavy duty stainless steel Chateau disc locks that come with two keys and the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty for $13.00. You will be the only one with keys to your unit as we do not hold keys.

Do you offer RV/boat/car parking?
SouthSide Storage offers outside uncovered parking as well as 10×22.5 units for indoor parking.

Can I reserve a storage unit in advance?
Yes. Payment is required at time of reservation (prorated rent, admin fee, lock if needed). We will take your information and email or text you an e-Sign lease. One click and you’re ready to move in.

Do you rent space month-to-month, or do I have to sign a long-term lease?
Leases are month-to-month. No long-term leases are required.

Do I need to give you notice when I move out?
To avoid additional rent charges, you must give notice 5 days in advance and vacate by the last day of the month. The unit must be completely emptied of your belongings and your lock removed by the last day of the month to avoid further charges.

What do I do if I lose my keys?
For a fee, SouthSide Storage will cut the lock. Do not attempt to remove the lock yourself. No locksmiths allowed.

Do you provide insurance for my stored goods?
No, please check with your insurance provider to determine if you have adequate coverage.

What kind of documentation do I need to provide to rent a storage unit?
A valid driver’s license or identification card is accepted. Tenants must be at least 18 years of age.

Move out procedures:
1) Provide notice 5 days prior to vacating your space.
2) Vacate space by the end of the month to avoid further rent charges.
3) Remove all contents and broom sweep the floor.
4) Close the door and remove your lock.
